My first visit here for lunch on a Wednesday. Lovely decor and atmosphere and background music. The owner was the only person working as he was having trouble keeping reliable staffing. Despite this, service was excellent. He was so friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed meeting him. I got the salmon kabob. The salmon and vegetables were excellent, but the dill rice was very dry and undercooked. I think only one person arrived to work the kitchen and maybe she got in a hurry with the rice. He gave us each a serving of baklava at the end of our meals. I will be back!

Delicious! We especially liked the cranberry rice, chicken barg, and lamb shank (the lamb went well with the dill rice). The hummus was great, with just a little spice. We also had the saffron rose water pistachio ice cream, which is homemade and churned by hand (not machine!). Very friendly service and reasonable prices too. The waitress (Ellie) was very knowledgeable about the dishes and answered our questions and made recommendations (which were spot on). We'll be back!

I came here at noon, not too crowded and the music was pleasant, suitable for conversation or a date.

Luxurious space and extremely gentle staff give you private space.

The food was something amazing, we ordered Lamb Shack and Seafood. The fresh shrimps are juicy and meaty, and the lamb is melt-in-your-mouth tender. The experience was amazing if I could give it a 10*. This restaurant needs to be more known.

We would give 10 stars!!! Absolute gem of a restaurant. Elegant place with a big bar, nice live music (gentleman on keyboard). Our server Angel was very helpful and nice. Their portions are so huge! We needed 3 boxes 😁 Very interesting dishes, absolutely terrific! Their cranberry rice is yum.

Get the seafood combo! If you like salmon, you will not be disappointed. It is seasoned to perfection and so moist! The shrimp were huge, literally the size of my palm. The cranberry rice is really good, but the dill rice is as well (tough decision to make lol). Absolutely order the cheesecake! You can taste the freshness in their food. The service was also great! It is a very large restaurant. It has a covered outdoor patio w/ TV. It also has a large room with a piano for events. And if you've never had Mediterranean food before, this is the place to try it. You'll love it!

This was really good. I was not sure what to expect..if you want a different flavor to familiar food (like rice, chicken, steak lamb & grilled veggies) try this place. It's good food, huge portions & an awesome mix of spices and flavors that mix things up a bit. It is off the beaten path but definitely worth a try! I don't remember the names of the dishes but I did label my pictures with the menu numbers! Break out of the norms and Go show them some support!

Food was rly good. My wife got seafood combo with shrimp and salmon that she loved. I got some kind of beef that was great. Everyone was super nice and who I assume was the owner greeted us and was rly cool. Might be kinda different from what you're used to but seemed really healthy but still tasted great. Definitely recommend

I went to Flames yesterday with my friend. We shared the chicken kabobs which was plenty for two people. Rice portion was huge. The food tasted authentic. I had baklava for dessert. The specific one I had was not very good. I was told they had chocolate and another type w walnuts and honey but were out. Baklava is one of my favorite desserts especially after spending some time on Crete. The service was exceptional, but we were the only people at the time. The building is immaculately clean and the atmosphere feels luxurious. The bar was gorgeous. There is an outside patio that would be nice on days with warm weather.

I had never heard of Flames until we pulled up Google maps to look for a place we'd never been. I'm very glad we went and I'd like to go back when it is more crowded to see what everything is like then.

Parking: Large parking with handicapped parking right in front of the door.

Great food and atmosphere. Went for Mother’s Day weekend and got a complimentary appetizer and dessert.

I ordered the salmon kabob and my husband got the lamb loin. Both dishes were great and we were happy to leave with many leftovers. Service was amazing.

Can’t wait to return, and happy to have a great Mediterranean place in Shreveport.

Went to this place last week and it was absolutely delicious! They have a unique menu of food with great flavors! The beef tender and cooked perfectly. Whatever the chef does, he has it down. I had mine with dill rice and also cranberry rice. Service was friendly and professional. We certainly are planning on going back. There is not a lot of signage on the building and it looks kind of like a office building from the outside, but it is spacious inside and decorated very nicely. I highly recommend this place.

The food is authentic with massive portions complimentary to the great prices. We will be frequenting Flames all the time!

This place is amazing. Honestly, I was shocked to be able to enjoy top notch authentic Persian food in a city the size of Shreveport. A family owned and operated establishment, the care and hospitality exude from the proprietor through the staff. A wide range of cocktails, delicious appetizers, and incredible Mediterranean dishes do not disappoint. We got the family combination plus an order of the lamb. Exquisite. Went 15 mins out of the way to try it while traveling from Forsyth, Ga to Dallas and would drive an hour to eat here again.

Vegetarian options: Amazing assortment of grilled veggies, rices, etc.

Parking: Plenty and close
